Rainbow House Children’s Emergency Shelter

The Rainbow House Children’s Emergency Shelter temporarily houses children who are in foster care; and assists parents who request placement for their children during a family crisis. 

First Steps

First Steps is Missouri’s Early Intervention system that provides services to families with children, birth to three years of age, with disabilities or developmental delays. The program is designed to meet the needs of families related to enhancing their child’s development, learning, and participation in family and community life.

Parents as Teachers- Kirksville

Parents as Teachers provides parent education and family support to families throughout pregnancy until their child enters kindergarten with personal visits, parent group meetings, screenings, and a resource network.
