Pregnancy Help Center is an organization supporting potential mothers and their unborn children in the region. All services at Pregnancy Help Centers are free and confidential. The following services are offered free of charge: pregnancy test, ultrasound scan, one-on-one mentoring and education, counseling classes, non-judgmental confidential services, fetal heartbeat detection, fetal age, approximate due date, and more.

Genesis: A Place of New Beginnings

Genesis is a temporary safe shelter for victims of abuse. The first step is to contact Genesis through their 24 hour hotline. The trained professional staff offers information, support, and access to helpful services and resources.

Visions Unlimited Food Pantry

Visions Unlimited Food Pantry serves Miller, Laclede, Pulaski, Camden, and Phelps counties. They provide food to families who are in need of help. They are open the 4th Friday of every month.

Rape and Abuse Crisis Services, Crisis Intervention related to families, domestic violence, sexual violence and stalking, child abuse, child sexual abuse, safe at home registration, and emergency shelter for victims of abuse including counseling for children and adults and outreach counseling

People with or without Medicaid or other insurance: Free medical clinic Thursday evenings 4p-6p. Dental clinic by appointment only. Extractions and fillings, no checkups. 4-6 month wait time.

Jefferson City Adult Education and Literacy Program

Adult Education individualized classes in basic academic subjects such as reading, math, and science to enable students to complete high school; enroll in higher education; or become employable
